• Q:  I've heard Russia has stopped all adoptions.  Is this true?
  A:  No, adoptions continue however at a somewhat slowed pace due to some changes in the Russian governments adoption process.  All agencies must go through a new accreditation process.  CHI is very close to completing this process.

• Q:  How long will it take?
  A:  We are hoping to be traveling to Russia in the early summer of 2008 for the first of 2 trips.  The second trip is when we will return with our new family member and we're targeting the mid summer of 2008 for this trip.

• Q:  Do you know if you'll be getting a boy or girl?
  A:  We are applying for a boy under 4 years of age.

• Q:  How much does it cost:

  A:  The internet is chock full of information and one of the best places to learn.  In addition, we have found that families who have adopted are usually very willing to talk about their experience.  Yahoo has numerous groups on adoption as well.  Browse here and search for groups with adoption in them http://groups.yahoo.com/
